Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills – Accredited by the CPCAB
It is the first compulsory qualification on the progression route to becoming a qualified counsellor and will enable candidates to work in a range of helping professions, either voluntary or employment. This course will prepare you for the next level of practitioner training
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3) – accredited by the CPCAB
The Certificate in Counselling Studies is designed for people who wish to enhance and develop counselling skills acquired to become a counsellor. You will
learn about counselling theory and practice and agency work. This course covers the 3 main approaches to counselling, The Person Centred Approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic.
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (TC-L4) – Accredited by the CPCAB
The CPCAB is a UK awarding body that is managed by professional counsellors, trainers and supervisors. Now in their 21st year of operation, they are the only awarding body in Europe to specialise in the field of counselling.
In addition the L4 at Simms Counselling & Training has been accepted by the BACP as a BACP approved practitioner course.
Level 2 Award in Effective Listening Skills – Accredited by the CPCAB
The course is aimed at people who wish to develop their listening skills in order to:
